最難関大への英作文 第2章 過去問13〜14

どうもいっす。
前回PCの内部の掃除をしてから，半年くらい経ったので，本日掃除を決行。
いやー，綺麗になりましたよっと。本当は，4ヶ月ごとにやろうと思っていたんだけどね。
ま，実家に帰る前には絶対やろうと思ったので，頑張りましたよっと。
キーボードもエアーダスターでシューッと。いくつかのキートップを外して掃除したり。
よしよし。


さて，英作文です。

第2章過去問13のオレオレ解答

People often say computers never make mistakes, but this means that
mostly, it is humans using a computer that make mistakes. When you are
working with another person, if you say something in the wrong way,
they can understand what you are trying to say. However, computers
cannot do this. Therefore, computer users, especially beginners,
should engrave in their minds that before you suspect a computer,
suspect yourself.

  • 第1文
    • but で受けるのはおかしいね。テキストにあるように，as people often say... が妥当かと。
    • it is humans --> it is the humans using computers
      • human は the で特定するのはわかるが，computers の方は，単数，複数どちらでもいいかも。複数にしとけば大丈夫かな。
  • 第2文
    • in the wrong way --> the wrong way
      • in はいらん。理由はググったら，そうっぽかったし，do sth the wrong way とか聞いたことある気がする。
    • trying to say --> trying to mean
      • 意味的に考えて，本当に言おうとしたこと，は，意図したこと，と考えられるので。
  • 第3文
    • cannot do this --> cannot do things like this
      • こんな感じのことができない，としておいた方がよい。
  • 第4文
    • before you suspect --> before they suspect
      • 文法の間違い。ひどいなぁ，これ。
    • suspect yourself --> they should suspect themselves
      • 文法の間違い。ひどいなぁ，これも。

第2章過去問14のオレオレ解答

People often associate tomatoes with Italian food, but its origin is
not Italy but South America. Moreover, it has been only about 200
years since Italian people began to eat tomatoes, and the origin of
Italian food dates back to the ancient Roma, so tomatoes are something
recent to them.
  • 第1文

      • 「トマトと言えばイタリア料理」なのか「イタリア料理といえばトマト」なのかどっちだろうか?
      • 後者ならば，associate Itlian food with tomatoes か。
  • 第2文
    • Moreover --> In fact
      • こちらの方が，自然につながる気がする。
    • eat tomatoes で一度切った方がいいね。
    • とすると，第3文は以下の用になるか。

  • 第3文 (上記を第3文とします)
    • the ancient Roma --> the ancient Roman Times
    • to them --> for them の方がいいかにゃ?
      • たぶんだけど，どちらでもいけると思う。

      • 「昨日」からのつきあい，なので，very で強調しておきましょ。


さて，第2章も，残すは，過去問15のみとなりました。
なぜに，今日3つやってしまわないか?
それは，面倒くせぇからじゃ。
本の整理をしないと収集つかなくなってきたのと，
明日実家に帰るに当たり，実家に本をたくさん持って行って，
おいてこようと考えていて，その本を選別する必要があるからね。


そうそう，おっぱいが筋肉痛です。一昨日の筋トレなのに。
さすが我らのプッシュアップバー。
が!! ちょっとひびが入ってきてるんだよねぇ。。。
重量90kgまでとあったのに，95kgの人が使っているからというのは内緒だよ!
ま，まだまだ使えそうなのでそれほど心配ではないです。
昨日は下半身をトレったので，本日，非常にだるく眠いです。
